Le Palais de Justice
Le palais aux 24 colonnes, construit par L.-P. Baltard et inauguré en 1847, a abrité pendant 150 ans les services de la Justice, transférés depuis 1995 dans un bâtiment nouveau à la Part-Dieu. La Cour d’assises et la Cour d’appel, qui ont conservé leur décor et leur mobilier d’origine, sont restées dans ces locaux historiques. Ce bâtiment est propriété du Département du Rhône.
Law Courts
For 150 years, the law courts were housed in this palace with its 24 columns, built by L.-P. Baltard and inaugurated in 1847, before moving to new quarters in the Part-Dieu in 1995. The Court of Assizes and the Court of Appeal are still in their old premises with the original decoration and furniture. This building is the property of the Rhône Department.
